THE CHAPTER MEETING:

Our monthly support group meeting is the heart of TCF. These gatherings provide a caring environment in which bereaved parents and adult siblings can talk freely about the emotions and experiences they are going through and receive the understanding support of others who have "been there."
Many siblings find it is helpful to talk to others about their brother or sister. Some chapters offer sibling support groups. In areas without sibling groups, you are encouraged to attend the nearest Compassionate Friends meeting.
Through the years, the hope provided through these sharing sessions has been very helpful in dealing with the grief resulting from the loss of a brother or sister.

CONFERENCES:

Each year both national conference and regional conferences are held in different parts of the country.  In addition to a program for parents there is a full schedule of workshops, sharing sessions and social activities for siblings.
