Can’t Attend the 2008 TCF Walk to Remember
®?

A special child in your life can still be a part of this wonderful event!!!

When up to 1,500 people join together in the two-mile Walk to Remember® at 8:00 a.m. Sunday, July 20 in Nashville, the names of more than 10,000 children will be carried, and this can include a special child in your life!

The Compassionate Friends Walk to Remember® was created to give everyone the opportunity to have their child(ren) or that of a relative or friend remembered in a special way. We know that not everyone can participate in this event in person so this is an open invitation to have a special child in your life remembered in an event that has been described as truly inspiring! Simply submit the information as explained below. The name of every child submitted will be transcribed onto memory pages that will be worn by volunteers during the walk. Last year the names of 10,000 children were carried. This year our goal is to carry the names of 15,000 children who live on in our hearts.

YOU CAN HELP MAKE THIS A REALITY and

PROVIDE TCF A WAY TO HELP OTHERS AT THE SAME TIME!

Last year this event raised more than $118,000 in donations to support the mission of The Compassionate Friends—to help families just like yours or someone you know. While donations are always optional, if you would like to make a contribution in memory of a child, you would not only have our gratitude, but that of bereaved families that reach out to us seeking friendship, understanding, and hope.
